John BIRD was the father of Ann BIRD (1650-1720) who married Adler EDGOOSE (1646-1692) at Pinchbeck. Ann BURD formerly BURTON was John BURD's second wife:

"In the Name of god Amen the nine and twentieth day of may in the yeare of our Lord god 1671 I John BURD of Pinchbek being sick in bodie but of perfect memorie thanks be to Almity god for it doe order this my Last will and testement in maner as followeth
first I bequeath my soule to allmyti god my creator and to Jesus Christ my Redemer and my body to be buried in the Church yard of pinchbeck.
Itm I give to An my wiufe the pide hefer and the oulde bay mare and the foule that shee is with all and foure and thirti shilings that is in William SPINKS hand and halfe the houseles goods within the house
Item I give to the wiufe of William SPINKS one black hefer bu?lin
Item I give to Elizabeth BURKS the sume of twenty shilings to be paide to her at the age of one and twenty yeares
