"FIREWORKS ON THE FIFTH, --George WATTS, George JACKSON, Richard BIGGADIKE, John EDGOOSE, William NEAL, all of Kirton, were summoned for discharging fireworks on the highway at Kirton, on Nov. 5th, --P.c. SMITH proved the charge, --EDGOOSE, who did not appear, was fined 4/. including costs, and the others were charged 3/. including costs."

- James TOOLEY, 18, George WATT, 17, Marshall HARROD, 17, Charles BETTS, 16, George GASH,18, and John EDGOOSE, 17, all of Kirton, were charged with loitering outside the Wesleyan Chapel at Kirton on Sunday night, Dec. 3rd. - P.c. SMITH said the defendants were talking in loud voices, were making use of bad language, and smoking, and obstructing the pavement. - HARROD and EDGOOSE, who did not appear, were fined 7s. 6d., and costs, and the other defendants were each fined 5s., and costs."
