      The census entries are difficult to decypher but it seems likely that he gave his place of birth as Dry Doddington, Lincolnshire.

      A Chelsea pensioner.

      Clarissa SPAFFORD formerly EDGOOSE married Charles LANGLEY, widower and pensioner and son of Charles LANGLEY labourer, at St. Mary Magdalene, Lincoln, on 4 August 1884. Joseph MARTIN and Helen MARTIN were witnesses.
