  ANNE CHRISTIANSEN 1877- "Anne CHRISTIANSEN, 410 11th St., observed her 100th birthday anniversary March 22. Miss CHRISTIANSEN, who was born in the town of Raymond, spent most of her life as a housekeeper for various Racine families. For 23 years she was housekeeper for J. Halbert (Hal) GITTINGS, a blind man who devoted his life to bolstering thele of the visually handicapped, A friend, Harold Konnack, said, "She's a darn good cook, she can make something out of nothing." Miss CHRISTIANSEN's housekeeper, Anne CAMPBELL, said Miss CHRISTIANSEN is an avid reader. "She reads the paper from beginning to end," she said. Miss CHRISTIANSEN broke a hip about five years ago and is able to walk only a fews [sic] steps at a time with the aid of a walker.
