Louisa COX may have been the Louisa Maria COX who witnessed the marriage of John William THOMPSON to Mary Jane EDGOOSE at Wisbech Primitive Methodist Chapel on 30 August 1871.
The index to the 1901 census lists a Rachael (sic) THOMSON (sic), aged 27, unmarried, a domestic nurse, born at Wisbech in Cambridgeshire and working for the SAMUELS family at 4 Birch Polygon, Ruseholme, South Manchester.
