William PLOWRIGHT, a 28 year old bachelor from Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, married Mary NEWCOMB, a 30 year old widow from Spalding, Lincolnshire, at Spalding on 16 February 1804 by licence. This indicates that William was born in 1775 or 1776.

From the Will of his father William PLOWRIGHT 1749-1802 made 13 July 1802:

The following two references could relate to the 74 year old William PLOWRIGHT bachelor who was lodging with John MARSHALL at Westlode Street, Spalding, at the time of the 1851 census. His place of birth was Caythorpe.
The death of a William PLOWRIGHT aged 77 was registered in 1853.
