  JAMES ALBERT CRAFT 1869-1903 The birth of James Albert CRAFT was registered in 1869. (GRO June Q 1869 [CROSS] Bramley 09B 368) According to the 1881 census returns for 10 Ducie Street, Wortley in Bramley, Yorkshire, he was a 12 year old schoolboy who had been born in Bramley. (RG11/4504/106/21) At the time of the 1891 census James Albert CRAFT was living with his grandparents at Amber Hill, Lincolnshire: John CRAFT, head, aged 79, born at Bolingbroke, Lincolnshire; Elizabeth CRAFT, wife, aged 76, born at Algarkirk, Lincolnshire; *James A. CRAFT, grandson, aged 22, an agricultural labourer, born at Bramley, Yorkshire; Jane CRAFT, granddaughter, aged 24, born at Algarkirk. (Jane is probably synonymous with Emma Jane). (RG12/2576/132/2).
