  JOHN BAVIN 1694-1744 John, son of John BAVIN, was baptised at Gedney, Lincolnshire, on 21 October 1694 (IGI). Peter, son of John BAVIN of Gedney in Lincolnshire, was apprenticed to Thomas Thistleton of Holbeach, carpenter, for a consideration of £5 and for a period of 7 years from 25 March 1735.
