  HENRY ALLAN (or ALLEN?) RIGGALL 1878-1955 "Henry Allan RIGGALL bn Louth 1878 of a family of Huguenot descent. After training at Handsworth College he went to the Gold Coast in 1903 for 6 years, helping to stamp out cannibalism among the Kumansi. Returning to England he served in many circuits including Huddersfield, Skipton, Caistor, Bourne, Andover, and Evesham before becoming a Supernumerary in Bournemouth in 1949. He died on 3 July 1955 at the age of 76" (from 'Lincs Methodist Ministers - Obituaries - 1954-1957' extracted by Richard Ratcliffe from 'The Minutes of the Methodist Conference 1948-1993'.
