Kenneth Haward WALKER wrote in April 2007 that his mother Audrey Louise WALKER née ROSCORLA always believed that her father died in Helston in 1908.
He said that his "widow" Ethel Gazelle Lamarchant ROSCORLA née WICKS emigrated to Canada in 1911 to be a "lady's companion". She lived in the area near Ridgetown, Ontario, and later brought Audrey and Irene to Canada to be with her. Apparently Charles died as he was preparing to join them. She remarried and had a second family.
