MABEL MAY or MAVIS LEEDER 1884-1946
No trace of of the birth of Mavis LEEDER could be found in the GRO indexes covering Q1 1882 to Q4 1883, but the birth of a Mabel May LEEDER was registered in 1884 (see below).
Mabel May LEEDER was born on 24 April 1884 at Billingford R.S.D., daughter of Fred LEEDER carpenter, and Hester LEEDER formerly WINTER.

Fred LEEDER has not been traced in the 1881 or 1891 census, but in 1891 his 31 year old wife was an inmate at the Mitford and Launditch Union Workouse at Gressenhall in Norfolk together with their children Maves (sic) aged 8, Maude aged 6, and Horace aged 1. All three children were born at Billingford in Norfolk (RG12/1555/101/2)

Mabel May LEEDER, a 23 year old spinster of Billingford in Norfolk and daughter of Frederick LEEDER, carpenter, married Sydney LAKE at Norwich Register Office on 18 August 1907. He was a 21 year old bachelor, a vermin destroyer of 16 Cheshill Place, Lakenham, and son of Alfred LAKE, shepherd. Witnesses were Francis HOWELL and William BROWN.
