    Emily Alice EDGOOSE was born at King Street, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, on 2 June 1854, daughter of the Reverend Jesse EDGOOSE and his second wife the former Mary WHARRAM.

    Jesse EDGOOSE had married Mary WHARRAM at Hemingborough, Yorkshire, on 7 August 1849.
