  LEONARD ANDREW ANDERSON 1908-1979 Leonard Andrew ANDERSON was born in Big Rock, Kane, Illinois, USA, on 17 August 1908, the son of Andrew and Lucy ANDERSON. According to U.S. World War II Draft Cards Young Men, 1940-1947, he resided at Dekalb, Dekalb County, Illinois, USA. His wife was stated to be Lydia La Greta ANDERSON (IMG_3996) He married LaGreta SMITH. He was a member of the National Farmers Organization and the Methodist Church of Kimberling City, Mo. He died at his farm aged 71 on 9 November 1979. Survivors include his wife LaGreta; two sons: Charles, New Lennox, and George, Blue Eye, Mo.; one daughter: Clara Mae SCHRAM, Aurora; three foster daughters: Janet CLAUSEN, Mendota; Judy CLAUSEN, West Brooklyn; and Carol MALONE, DeKalb; one brother: Ellis ANDERSON, Malta; one sister, Harriert LONG, Malta; seven grandchildren; six foster grandchildren; two great granddaughters.
