Urbane Hall CLARKE, private M2/223838 Army Service Corps attached to 101st Anti-Aircraft Artillery, died of wounds on 21 March 1918 aged 30. He was buried at Merville Communal Cemetery, Nord, France, grave number I.C.73. He was the son of James and Sylvia CLARKE, and husband of W. A. CLARKE of 12 Lansdowne Road, Aldershot.
The marriage between Winnifred Anne CLARKE, a 30 year old widow of 12 Lansdowne Road, Aldershot, Hampshire, daughter of William Henry ROBINS a Department Manager for J. A. & N. Stores, and Harold Fraser GAME, a 31 year old bachelor, a commercial pilot, of Glenmor near Ashford, Middlesex, and son of James Aylward GAME, took place at Holy Trinity Church, Aldershot, on 6 July 1920. Witnesses were Herbert Aylward GAME and William Henry ROBINS.
