John James EDGOOSE had married Sarah Ann ADAMS at Queenscliff Wesleyan Methodist Church, near Geelong, Victoria, Australia, on 18 June 1870. A Mr. W. EDGOOSE or ADGOOSE left Brisbane for Sydney, New South Wales, on the ship Peregrine, arriving on 3 February 1899. This might refer to Ernest Winfrey EDGOOSE.
