LOUISA PITTS formerly HUNT née LOVELL 1817 or 1818-
The marriage between John HUNT and Louisa LOVELL was registered in 1838.

From the 1841 census of Elm Road, Wisbech St. Peter, Cambridgeshire:
John HUNT, aged 20, agricultural labourer, born in Cambridgeshire;
*Loueaser [sic] HUNT, aged 20, born in Cambridgeshire;

Four John HUNTs died in the Wisbech Registration District between 1838 and 1852: in 1840, in 1847, and two in 1849. If his son James was born in the December Q of 1848 (see 1851 census below) then it seems likely that his father died in 1849. The John HUNT who died in the June Q of 1847 could not have sired a child who was born in the December Q of 1848.
