      Captain Walter James GILMORE, 96122, 2/4th Bn, Hampshire Regiment, who died at Pichon, Tunisia, on 8 April 1943 aged 25, was the son of John Herbert and Lily Emily GILMORE, and husband of Irene GILMORE of Martham, Norfolk.
      A Solicitor, he was awarded the Hampshire Law Society Prize in 1939.

      He was buried in Enfidaville War Cemetery, Tunisia, 100 kilometers south of Tunis on the main coast road.
