Of his wife Jane there is no trace. However a 42 year old Jane TORRY was visiting a TORRY family in Wragby, Lincolnshire [i.e. born circa 1858].
From the 1911 census of 13 Clutton Street, Soothill, Yorkshire:
Herbert HOLBORN, head, aged 38, signalman for railway company, born at Terrington St. Clement, Norfolk;
*Jane HOLBORN, wife, aged 45 [i.e. born circa 1866], married 14 years, no children, born at Wragby, Lincolnshire.

*Herbert HELBORN [sic], born 29 October 1873, station master retired, married;
Jane HELBORN [sic], born 7 December 1858, unpaid domestic duties, married.

When and where did she die? The death of a Jane HOLBORN aged 85 was registered in 1943 [i.e. born in 1858].

NOTES & QUERIES:
It seems that Jane HOLBORN may have avoided the enumerator in Dewsbury in 1901 and lied about her age in 1911. She would have been about 42 years old when she married so unsurprisingly she had had no children by the time she was aged 56 in 1911 after 14 years of marriage.
