    "PRETTY WEDDING AT GOSBERTON
    Miss F. PALMER and Mr. Fred EDGOOSE
    Two well-known Gosberton families were united in a pretty wedding at the parish church on Saturday, when the officiating clergyman was the Vicar (the Rev. I. S. Bennett).
    The contracting parties were Mr. Fred EDGOOSE, second son of Mrs. EDGOOSE and the late Mr. F. EDGOOSE, Council House, Noble's-lane, and Miss Freda PALMER, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles PALMER, Wargate-way.
    Given away by her father, the bride wore a long gown of white satin, with veil supported by a head-dresss of orange blossom. Her bouquet was of yellow chrysanthemums and trailing fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Janet EDGOOSE, sister of the bgroom, and she was in an ankle-length dress of lavender blue, with a head-dress to match. She carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums.
    Mr. Harold PALMER, brother of the bride, was the best man.

    They had three children: a daughter born in 1947, a son Denis EDGOOSE (1950-1958), and a second son in 1954.

    Her husband Frederick EDGOOSE died in 1988.
