  SARAH PILKINTON nee MILLER (17??-1785) The Will of Sarah PILKINTON (17??-1785) of Stamford, Lincolnshire, widow: [surnames capitalised, and abbreviations expanded] "This is the Last Will and Testament of me Sarah PILKINTON of Stamford in the County of Lincoln Widow First I Give to my Son George PILKINTON the Sum of Ten Pounds part of Thirty Pounds due on Note given by him to his late Sister Sarah PILKINTON Also I Give to my son William PILKINTON the Sum of Ten Pounds Also I Give to my son Robert PILKINTON the Sum of Ten Pounds Also I Give to my Son John PILKINTON the Sum of Ten Pounds Also I Give to my Son Thomas PILKINTON the Sum of Ten Pounds Also I Give to my Grandson Robert and to my Grandaughter [sic] Susannah PILKINTON the son and Daughter of my said Son Robert PILKINTON the Sum of Five Pounds Each Also I Give to my Grandson Thomas and to my Grandaughter [sic] Elizabeth, the son and Daughter of my said of my said Son Thomas PILKINTON the Sum of Five Pounds Each Also I Give to my Grandaughters [sic] Sarah and Mary the Daughters of my said Son George PILKINTON the Sum of Five Pounds Each Also I Give to my Grandaughter Mary LIGHTFOOT Five Pounds O [?] Also I Give to my Grandsons William and Nicholas the Sons of the late Nicholas PILKINTON deceased the Sum of Five Pounds Each all which said Legacies are to be paid within twelve Months after my Decease And as to all the Rest and Residue of my Money Goods Chattels and Effects whatsoever my Debts Legacies and Funeral Expences being first Paid and discharged I Give and Bequeath the same unto my Daughter Mary PILKINTON whom I appoint sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament Hereby revoking all former Wills by me made In Witness whereof I the said Sarah PILKINTON the Testatrix have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Seventeenth Day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and eighty two.
