  The Will of Mrs. Elizabeth PILKINGTON nee GRUMMITT of Market Deeping, widow: [surnames capitalised and abbreviations expanded] [PAGE 1] "This is the Last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth PILKINTON of Market Deeping in the County of Lincoln Widow, as follows, I give and bequeath unto Joseph PHILLIPS of Bourn fen in the said County of Lincoln Farmer the following articles of Furniture which will be found in the room of my present Dwelling house called the "Blue room", namely, The Bed, Bedding, Bedstead, and hangings all complete The Secretary and Bookcase, the wash hand Stand and Chamber service complete Dressing table, Looking Glass, Night convenience and Bidet Curtains and Poll, Six Chairs, Four Stools, Carpet, Hearth rug, and Towell horse Also Six Framed rush bottomed chairs in the Kitchen of my said Dwelling house And in case of the death of the said Joseph Phillips in my life time I do hereby give and bequeath all the above articles of Furniture to his two Daughters to be equally divided between them I give and bequeath unto Louisa Elizabeth PILKINTON, the Daughter of William and Elizabeth PILKINTON, which said Elizabeth PILKINTON is now the wife of William TOLLER of Market Deeping aforesaid Grocer and Draper, My large Silver Tea Pot I give and bequeath unto Charlotte the wife of Samuel TAYLOR of [blank] in the County of [blank] my Prayer Book marked "Ann YOUD 1834" - I give the likeness of my late Husband Jonathan PILKINTON unto the said Elizabeth TOLLER I give and bequeath unto George PILKINTON of Birmingham The looking Glass which stands on the Chimney Piece in the Dining room of my said residence I give and bequeath unto Thomas PILKINTON of Stamford The looking Glass which stands on the Chimney Piece in the room of my said Dwellinghouse called the Drawing room. I give and bequeath unto my Niece Constantia ONN My Gold Watch chain and appendages belonging thereto I give and bequeath unto Margaretta KELLY of Market Deeping my four Bronze Lustres in my said Drawing room I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth CHANTRY of Market Deeping aforesaid Spinster the small work table with drawers now standing in my said Drawing room All which said specific Legacies or articles of Furniture I direct my Executors to deliver to the respective Legatees one week after my decease and I particularly request that the same shall not be removed until that period I give and bequeath unto the said Joseph PHILLIPS and Francis BROWN of Market Deeping aforesaid Gentleman All my money and securities for money And all the residue of my Household Goods and Furniture Plate Linen Jewels Wearing apparel China Boooks Ale Wines Liquors and all other my Personal Estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever not hereinbefore disposed of Upon trust that they the said Joseph PHILLIPS and Francis BROWN or the Survivor of them or the Executors administrators of such survivor do and shall with all convenient speed after my decease call in and collect all my money and do and shall at such times as they or he shall think proper sell and dispense of all the residue of my said Personal Estate (except as hereinafter mentioned) And I do hereby declare that they [the] said Joseph PHILLIPS and Francis BROWN or the survivor of them shall stand and be possessed of the money to arise and be produced as aforesaid Upon Trust In the first place to pay retain and satisfy all my Funeral and Testamentary charges and Expenses also all my just Debts And also the costs charges and Expenses of the said Joseph PHILLIPS and Francis BROWN, both Professional, or otherwise attending and carrying into execution the trusts of this my Will and all other incidental Expenses in any wise relating thereto [Lincoln Consistory Court Will 1850/289 - PAGE 1 of Transcription]
