I John STEVYNSON of popelar in the Countie of Midd(lesex) Maryner being [???] of mynde and in good memory lawde and praysing be to my maker make orde(y)n and declare this present testament conteyning therin my last will in maner and fourme folowing that is to Wit First I geve bequeth(e) and Recomende my soule unto Almighty god my Creatour and Redemour and to his most glorious moder our blessed lady saint Mary the virgyn. And to all the Celestiall [illegible] of hevyn my body to be buried in the Churche or Churche yarde of saint Dunstane in Stebenheth I am [per????] by the discrecion of myn(e) Executouri Underwretyn. It(e)m I bequeth(e) to the high [illegible, possibly "altar"] of the same Churche for my tithes and offerynges by me forgot(t)en or necligently witholden in discharging of my soule iij s iiij d. It(e)m I bequeth(e) unto Deonyse my wyfe my ij houses w(i)t(h) the grounde and all thapp(ur)te(nences) in which I now dwell nowe and my tenement therto annexed to have and to hold to her during her lyfe And aftre [sic] her deceas I woll [sic] that all the said ij houses and groundes w(i)t(h) all singuler the appurten(e)nces holy remayn unto my said Cosyn John STEVINSON To have and to holde to him and to his heires forev(er) more provided alwey that if it hap(pens) the said my Cosyn John STEVINSON ta[illegible] and deceas before my said wyf than I woll the said ij houses w(i)t(h) all the landes and their app(ur)ten[illegible] be solde and the money therof comyng to be distributed in dedes of Cheritie mercy and pitie by discrecion of my Executours Underwretyn for my soule my fadyr and moder soules and all [xpen] soules. It(e)m I bequeth(e) to my said Wyfe t(wo) termes of yeres that I have yet tocom(e) of and in those v Acres of londe in popelar Marshe the Which [are] holde by leas for termes of my lorde of London And yf it happen my said wyf to deceas beforoore the leas be excluded and Ron. Then I woll that all the termes of yeres then tocom(e) expressed in the leas hooly Remayne Unto the forsaid John STEVYNSON my Cosyn. And yf it happen the said my cosyn John dye or decesse before the said Lees be fully ron and excludid. then I will that all the the termes of yeres yet tocom(e) expressed in the same leas hooly Remayne to myn(e) executours undrewretyn. It(e)m I woll that of the Ship called the Peter of london be solde by myn(e) executours undrewretyn and the [illegible] comyng therof I woll shalbe disposed in dedes of pitye and Cheritie w(i)t(h)in the parisshe of saint Dunstan forsaid by the discrecion of my said Executours for my soule and all [xpen] soules It(e)m I bequeth(e) to my said Wyfe in money viij li xiij s iiij d.
