Charles Judson MARTIN married Fanny Gertrude SANDERS at Spenser Crescent, Canterbury, Victoria, Australia, on 25 June 1898. Charles Judson MARTIN was a 26 year old bachelor of Canterbury Road, Canterbury, born in Balwyn, a wood and coal merchant, son of Henry MARTIN, market gardener, and Eleanor MAW. Fanny Gertrude SANDERS was a 25 year old spinster of Spenser Crescent, Canterbury, born in Canterbury (sic), daughter of William Henry SANDERS, boot manufacturer, and Mary Ann BROWN. (State of Victoria, Marriage Index) Fanny Gertrude MARTIN died at Ellison Street, Ringwood, Victoria, on 16 December 1927 at the age of 54. She was the daughter of William Henry SANDERS, currier, and Maryann SANDERS née BROWN. The informant was Charles J. MARTIN of Ellison St., Ringwood, present at the death. She was buried in Boxhill Cemetery on 16 December. The cerificate states that she was born in Bedford, England, and had lived 38 years in Victoria and 8 years in South Australia. She married in Canterbury aged 25 years to Charles Joseph (sic) MARTIN.
